I got this awesome blender for my birthday! If my younger self knew how nerdy and excited I would be for this blender she would have been so disappointed. No epic dinners or parties, just some new sweatpants and this awesome amazing, incredible, I don’t deserve this gift blender.
Well it turns out that after I opened the box, I actually didn’t know where to begin. I know you can make incredible things like, nut butters, homemade mayonnaise, soups and even body butters and homemade cosmetics but I got so overwhelmed with the endless possibilities.
Thankfully I have made a friend blogging who has helped me immensely. Her name is Katherine, and she has a whole blog dedicated to smoothies. Except she lives in the UK and over there they call them thickies. Which I fully think is a weird name for blended fruit, but then again, they think fanny packs is weird too. I digress…. She has lost over 110 pounds and has overcome chronic fatigue by drinking her awesome smoothie recipes. I asked her to start me out with some delicious beginner smoothies. Ones I can’t screw up, and don’t need super exotic ingredients like the freeze dried Peruvian papaya. And this is her extraordinary list!
I am working my way through the list. And. They. Are. Delicious! Especially the Cold and Flu busting Coconut Orange one! And the best part is the my kids eat them up!
