Fancy Finds: Powerful Posts

As we gather together here at Fancy Nonsense to collaborate and share in community, we celebrate our similarities and differences as well as our unique gifts, interests, and perspectives. By sharing some Fancy Finds with you, we hope to provide a source of inspiration. We want these round-ups to serve as encouragement. Not encouragement to focus on materials, but something more personal.  Similar to a friend sharing the products and tips they love. Maybe you’ll find something that’s a better fit for your budget, or something eye opening and fun. Or maybe you will be reminded how much you do like what you already have.  If that’s the case, you must share them with us! Hopefully we will all find something fancy in the process.

Sometimes you come across something so inspiring, something that resonates deep within you.  Sometimes it seems that it was written or created just for you; speaking to who you are and where you are at in that exact moment, place, and time.  Don’t you love it when that happens?  Spring officially arrived on March 20th.  And for whatever crazy reason, springtime is often associated with cleaning.  In the spirit of spring, here are some powerful posts regarding spring cleaning (of the body, mind, soul, and home) that we wanted to share with you.  What do you think of them?  Have some to share?  Here are our picks:

Lauren: Simple Spring Reboot– Food and lifestyle suggestions that will help with a healthy spring clean of the body.

Natasha: What Mindfulness Means to Me (And How I Practice It At Home)- Inspiration to be more mindful. “Making calm, quite decisions that not only feel right, but reflect who I am in this very moment.”  A blogger’s personal resolution to never buy something without a precise need and purpose for it.

Sarah D: Decluttering Tips From An Aspiring Hoarder– Helpful tips on purging the contents of your closet to make room for things you really love, and encouragement to give what is no longer needed to friends or thrift stores so someone else can love them.

Sarah W:  Living Well: Making A Plan– A reflection and encouragement to live well and renew goals regarding health.

What are some meaningful posts you have read this month?  Share them with us in the comments.

Speaking of meaningful posts, I want you to know that I nominated you for the Liebster Award. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s basically a way for bloggers to acknowledge the talent and hard work of other bloggers. I hope you post your answers, I’d love to get to know you better!
