Simple Paloma Cocktail Recipe

Happy Valentine’s Day dear readers!

I am so thankful for the love that you all have been showing this blog!  It is truly a privilege to write here and create community with you!

Regardless of your plans tonight, (mine will be curled up on the couch, watching a movie and eating take-out with my man) these pictures and drink were so perfect I had to share my new favorite cocktail with you!

My new neighbor Lauren Kelp turned me on to it. I love my neighborhood.

Not only does she have great taste in drink, she has impeccable taste and runs an eStyling company.  I am really excited to have her come to my house and spruce it up a bit.  Have I mentioned my house is being featured in our neighborhood home tour? I’m feeling a bit nervous about this and need to do a lot of work in the next few weeks!

The photos were taken by my sweet and extremely talented friend, Stancy Higley who has been taking all the photos here at Fancy Nonsense lately.  And this photo shoot was just featured on!

Isn’t that the coolest?

So no, this isn’t what my Valentine’s Day Morning looks like.  With three kids it looks quite the opposite, but just as beautiful, in a different really messy and sticky sort of way.

I digress… here is the recipe.

Simple Paloma Cocktail Recipe:

  • Tequila
  • Grapefruit juice
  • Lime wedge
  • Club soda
  • Pinch of salt

This is my absolute favorite drink. It is perfect for brunch, happy hour, or an after dinner treat.

This delicious cocktail is super easy to make, here’s how:

Combine 1/4 cup of fresh grapefruit juice + squeeze limed wedge + a pinch of sugar or salt (depending on if you like salty or sweet) – stir until salt/sugar is dissolved. Stir in 1/4 cup of tequila, add ice, and top off with a some club soda.

Welcome to your favorite new cocktail.

What is your favorite cocktail for brunch?
