Whiskey Sour

Bourbon has been my vice lately. I continually blame it on my Kentucky roots. whiskey sour
After the kids go to bed and I have a moment to myself I love making a drink like this and sitting down to my computer to write.  It makes me feel old in a good way.  Like I did a good job raising my kids today and now I have a unique time to myself to explore my own desires instead of minding the children.  It’s a special moment.

Shows are my other vice.  I could sit in front of the television for days before I feel the need to get up.  That’s not something I’m proud of.  I wish my vice was running.  I know people like that. They say,  “I just have to go run to my yoga class and then drink a fresh spinach, kale and chia seed smoothie or I will just explode”  Not me people.  Maybe someday.  I did just join the gym and I recently turned the television off for 40 days.  While the tv was off I started writing more, learned a lot about essential oils and lost 5 pounds.  I may be on my way.

Until then….
